 PERMITS

  § 150.34. PERMIT FEES.

  • (A) The schedule of fees for the issuance of commercial/industrial building permits shall be based upon the formulas and building valuation data report set out in Exhibit A of Ordinance 930.9 and hereby adopted by reference as if set out herein.
    (B) The schedule of fees for the issuance of residential building permits is hereby established and adopted as follows:

    Finished basements
    $22 per sq. ft.
    Sidewalk/apron inspection fee

    Deck/storage sheds
    $30 up to 200 sq. ft.
    $5 for each addtl. 100 sq. ft. or fraction thereof
    Above ground pools

    Inground pools

    $40 up to 1,000 sq. ft.

    (D) If the cost of construction submitted by the applicant on the permit application is calculated differently than this fee schedule, fees will be based on documents submitted.
    (E) HVAC permit fees. The imposition and collection of HVAC permit fees shall be consistent with the fee schedule in effect by the state under 815 KAR 8:070.
